 4.   Man in uniform similar to doorman hails a cab and gets in it while 3 people wait on curb.
 5.   Two beggars - One displays "Pencils 5 cents", the other "Pencils sharpened 1 cent" 
 6.   New Surf Cafe on the beach is being picked by union strikers wheeled in beach chairs.
 7.   Street cleaner sweeps dirt into a sewer - lifting the manhole cover and then replacing it.
 8.   Policeman pursues thief - Both wear armbands.  One says "Thief" and the other "Police".
 9.   Midget carries sign advertising Keenies cereal.  Only children can see the sign.
10.  Doorman under an awning watches another doorman with umbrella shaped like awning.
11.  Man in trash can hands out flyers too close to the election polling site.
12.  Thieves hold up Loan Co. after hearing a commercial on television. (picture series)
13.  Man is thrown out of bar; next comes his hat, coat, cane, gloves, & finally his date. series)     
14.  Bar patrons watch a salvation Army concert over television.
15.  Sandwichman wearing moose head, sign: "Geo. Hathaway & Son, Taxidermist. Repair Mount Sell"
16.  Man walks with sign "Neckties for Sale".  Peddler with tray of ties walks behind him. 
17.  Pickets carry their signs over their heads to shield themselves from a rain storm.
18.  Street cleaner's stick and newspaper blow away in severe gust of wind.
19.  Extremely stout man carries a sign reading "Eat well-Tim's".  He is so large the sign is sideways.
20.  On a rainy day a sergeant at Army recruiting station holds umbrella for recruit as he enters. 
21.  Apartment building is still being constructed as tenants start moving in before completion. 
22.  Clock store owner looks out window, gets step ladder & hammer to use on outside clock. (series)
23.  Rearview mirror of Murray Hill Optical Service truck is shaped like a pair of glasses.  
24.  Man is ejected from a bar.  Street cleaner sweeping up the street throws him back into the bar. (series)
25.  Watch repair men on strike carry very small signs in their hands instead of the usual large ones.
26.  Man ejected from "Rooftop Club" > elevator > elevator to lobby > by doorman into the street. (series)
27.  Fruit vendor lift his hat to a lady and also lifts his horse's hat.
28.  Fortune teller puts cards & pad on table, then calls forth a spirit to play cards.(series)
29.  Men pass a woman; she has a sign on her back "Use Velvo after shave lotion". (series)
30.  Two men, each wearing half of horse's costume, fight backstage at circus.
31.  Man is bounced from cocktail lounge; doorman calls cab & kicks him into the cab. (series)
32.  Five men carry sign that reads: Mammoth Clearance Sale Empire Furniture Stores. 
33.  Peddler loaded with coats, hats, try of ties.  Sign  "Over-stocked 20% off - Everything must go"
34.  Man holds loud speaker from election truck "Vote for Calahan" over manhole.      
35.  Man leaves elevator shoe store and his clothes no longer fit in arms and legs, suit is short-waisted.
36.  Ventriloquist is thrown out of club with doll, rabbit, bear, and hat.
